I have worked for multinational companies in industry, transport & logistics, financial services, multimedia and IT – in Switzerland and in London. My HR roles were both operational and strategic in nature, and I worked closely with companies and individuals worldwide. This raised my interest in other cultures and helped me think on a global level.
A one-year trip travelling around the world also taught me a great deal about life and living.
Now that I am in business on my own account, I am able to do what I like doing best – i.e. regard my job as a vocation. I enjoy learning new things every day and developing my capabilities; pursuing fresh challenges that invigorate me and make life just that little bit more fun; exploring the power of networking; helping people and achieving positive outcomes – and getting a smile at the end of the day!
My family life energises me but at the same time helps keep me grounded; it helps me to live in the moment, and reminds me of the following words:
"The true is the whole."
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831)
German Philosopher
