The number of successful professionals and managers regularly working in a systematic, disciplined manner with personal coaches is growing. They recognise that the support of a professional coach helps them realise their potential, overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes in their professional and personal lives.
A blend of mental training and solution-focused coaching enables us to treat each of our coachees as an individual and to achieve goals efficiently, rapidly and with lasting effects.
Typical coaching issues: Typically we are brought in to tackle issues such as those surrounding leadership/management, appraisals of current circumstances and career reorientations, burnout and stress, communication and conflict management, as well as specific personal and career-related challenges.
Our target audience: The coaching we offer is particularly suitable for companies, human resources departments, professionals and managers as well as private individuals.
The process: The coach and coachee define the aims and content of the coaching intervention only after an exhaustive appraisal has been undertaken. Interventions developed jointly are applied to the coachee’s daily life going forward and reflected on in coaching sessions. Also part of the process are regular progress checks, periods of reflection and a comprehensive final appraisal – as is the flexibility to address situational and personal issues within the intervention.
Ours is a person-centred approach. The coach acts not as a problem solver but as a facilitator in the problem-solving process. The coachee’s capacity to assume responsibility for his or her own actions is key to the successful outcome of the intervention. The contents of the coaching sessions remain confidential. The communication paths between the client (e.g. the employer), the coachee and the coach are clearly defined. The process is transparent.
Methods: Our coaching techniques are tailored to the coachee’s current needs and circumstances and can take the form of
- Reflection and feedback
- Mental exercises and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
- Various visualisation techniques
- Client-centred interventions (as per Rogers)
- Systematic questioning techniques
- Methods of eliciting the decision-finding process
- Goal-achievement techniques
- Various exercises and role playing
